15 Minutes with 2021 AAFW-NEI Treasurer, Angie Rose

I recently talked to Angie about 2021 and her hopes for the future for the AAFW-NEI and her role as the Board Member of the AAFW-NEI - Peggy Meyer

What Experience Do You Bring to the Office of AAFW-NEI’s Treasurer?
Long time member of the Association 30 years of multi housing experience; Budgeting and legal knowledge

What Do You See as the Biggest Obstacle That the AAFW-NEI Faces in 2021?
Connecting members in person so we are learning to do things remotely and its been a bumpy road…but great things are coming!

What is the Best Advice You Would Give Someone That is Interested in Being on the AAFW-NEI Board of Directors?

Don’t be afraid to ask the tough questions… if there are tough questions to be asked. Be willing to invest time, talent and treasure for the betterment of the Association

What is One Thing That You Have Learned About Yourself From Being on the Board of Directors?
I can collaborate and work with anyone who is willing to step up and take on a position of service for the Association. We all bring something different to the table and if we are willing to leave our egos at the door as bosses/managers/owners and just be a group of people working together for the betterment of the Association…a lot will be accomplished… I feel that I am willing to do that

What Do You Want People Outside of the AAFW-NEI to Know About Our Organization?Where there is a will…there is a way…
2020 was difficult for all of us…but we made it and we are on the other side stronger than ever and will continue to provide education and services that everyone can benefit from
