The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo – Our zoo is continually ranked among one of the best children’s zoos in the nation! Plus, this year there will be two new exhibits! As you go through the entrance, you will see Monkey Island, the new home for the Capuchin Monkeys. In the same area, Central Zoo, you can experience an underwater viewing cave and see the new home of the adorable River Otters.

Riverfront Fort Wayne – The city where three rivers meet is the city where riverfront attractions are ever-expanding. This summer’s newest destination is Promenade Park, a four-acre multipurpose river parkway. Here, you can relax, eat lunch, attend a concert, go boating, people watch, the possibilities are abundant. With several water activities, sculptures, a pavilion, and a playground, this park is perfect for people of all ages.

Historic meets Modern – Embrace the city’s history as the Summit of the Erie and Wabash Canals. Venture to what was once a main stop along the canal and is now the new scene of modern urban living: The Landing. Grab a bite at Nawa, an Asian dining experience, go shopping after stopping at the local coffee shop, or enjoy the savory Brewery/BBQ spot. Take part in the urban lifestyle at The Landing, located along Columbia Street.

Festivals Galore – Celebrate culture, music, and adventure at any of the several summer festivals this year. From street performers at Buskerfest, to free concerts at Rock the Plaza and Friday Nites Live, to a music lover’s fantasy at Gearfest, to culture celebration Festivals like Arabfest and Greekfest, there’s something for everybody.
